This collection contains live recordings of two 90-minute workshops on creative writing: 1) "Writing Your First Novel" by James Magnuson, and 2) "How To Write Historical Fiction" by Roberta Gellis.
James Magnuson has written eight novels, including Windfall and Ghost Dancing. He has worked as a TV story editor and screenwriter. He is Director of the Michener Center for Writers at the University of Texas at Austin. He was playwright in residence at Princeton University.
